I am a marriage and family therapist committed to helping couples, individuals, children, and families learn how to communicate more effectively, diffuse conflict, and develop healthy coping skills. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients achieve their goals. I am passionate about healing families, children, and adults from trauma and the impact of divorce or other conflict within the family system. Lyndsey has been in administration/patient care for a little over 5 years. She believes your first contact with Kendrick Counseling should be a positive and welcoming experience that is hassle free. Service is everything to her, that's why she will make you a priority. You will always be greeted with a warm and welcoming tone. 

Lyndsey resides in Saint Joseph, IL with her husband and three children, Ellie, Emma and Easton. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, lifting weights, visiting her sister in Chicago, and taking walks with the family. Finding a new park is always a bonus!

Emma has extensive experience in the insurance and credentialing industry. She works hard to provide you the best service possible by bringing ease and clarity to all of your insurance and billing needs. 

Emma resides in Mahomet, IL with her husband Skyler & her two adorable dogs, Daisy and Lila.

In her free time, you can find her in the great outdoors. Whether it is hiking, fishing, camping or longboarding, she is a lover of all things adventurous. As long as she is with her husband, dogs, and somewhere green - she is a happy camper.

 Erin is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Illinois, and a trained EMDR therapist. She graduated with her Master’s in Social work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign after completing a Bachelor’s in Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  She is experienced working with children, teens, and adults who are seeking counseling for a wide range of emotional and life experiences. She particularly enjoys working with children and teens. 

 Jennifer (Jenni) is a Champaign native, who currently lives in Tolono with her husband, 15-year-old son, 14-year-old step-daughter and dogs, Birdie & Otis. She also has a twenty-year-old daughter and son-in-law who live in Joplin, Missouri and attend Ozark Christian College. She loves goats (yes, goats… the hilarious and odd farm animal), is an avid Green Bay Packer fan, and enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
Jenni graduated with her Bachelor’s in Arts and Master’s in Counseling from Eastern Illinois University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is interested in working with families, couples and teens, as well as clients seeking counseling for anxiety, depression and grief. Her passion is working with families and children of divorce.
Jenni chose to go into the counseling profession because she wants to help people navigate life’s obstacles in a healthy way. She was positively influenced and inspired by a counselor in her life and wants to pay the gift of therapy forward. 

 Deidra completed her Master's in Social Work at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign after graduating with her Bachelor's of Science at Millikin University. Deidra works with adults, teens, and children. Her therapy interests are PTSD, ADHD, autism, divorce and post-separation family conflict. Deidra believes that creating a supportive therapy environment for individuals, couples, and families can be truly transformational and that we can all benefit from learning tools to help navigate life's obstacles. Deidra enjoys being a mom to her three teenagers and looking after her cat Maurice and dog Buddy.  

Rebekah (Bekah) Magee is from Charleston, Illinois but is now living in the Champaign area. Rebekah received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Eastern Illinois University. She graduated from the Counseling and Higher Education program where she became a Licensed Professional Counselor and a school counselor. Rebekah enjoys working with people of all ages but especially loves working with young children and couples/families. She has trained in play therapy and sand-tray therapy during her time at EIU. Rebekah believes that everyone can benefit from extra support through life, especially through hard times. She feels honored to create a safe environment for people to do hard things and be vulnerable.  

Rebekah also loves to dance, read, spend time with loved ones, and shop in her free time! 

 Amy treats children, adolescents, and adults. Her therapy interests are depression, general anxiety disorder, LGBTQ, grief counseling, autism, ADHD, ODD and children of divorce. Her favorite types of therapy are play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, Gestalt therapy, and solution focused therapy. 

Amy is a Champaign native and graduated with her Master's degree in 2015 from Eastern Illinois University and is now a school therapist for grades K-5.  In her spare time Amy and her husband like to travel, ILLINI sports, playing with their dog and volunteering for local community organizations. 

I asked Amy why she chose to become a therapist and she said, “as a child I needed help navigating my emotions and feelings. I started going to therapy and that's where I found my voice and I want to help others do the same.

Raised in the city of Chicago, Demetria has resided in the Champaign community for over 20 years. She is married with 4 sons. One is currently in College at the University of Illinois, while the baby of the bunch is in elementary school. Demetria enjoys watching football and basketball with her husband, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys giving back to the community in various ways, through various organizations she is affiliated with. Demetria obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies and a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a Licensed Social Worker and has experience in working with all ages from infancy through death.  Demetria is interested in working with children and families in addressing a myriad of issues that tend to affect the family system. She has chosen this profession to provide a listening ear and safe place, as well as strategies for individuals to embrace and conquer some of life's most difficult challenges. 

Jess has her Master’s in counseling from Eastern Illinois University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.

"I became a counselor because I believe mental health is a journey that, sometimes, we need help navigating. As someone who has benefited from the positive impacts of focusing on mental health and working with a counselor, I wanted to provide help to others. I love working with all age groups and am particularly interested in working with teens, adults, couples, and families. I believe in building a collaborative relationship to help you achieve your goals."

Jess lives in Charleston with her husband, a hyper blue heeler (Dart), and 3 cats. She loves to travel and try new things. Any chance she can get, she is outside with her husband and dog.

 Kelsey Oglesby is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois. Kelsey is closing the doors to Oak Counseling to join our team of professionals who are dedicated to serving the Illinois population better their mental health and break the stigma.  She has worked in various clinical contexts throughout her career that include Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Community Mental Health, Incarcerated mental health and, most recently, private practice. Kelsey enjoys working with teenagers, young adults, and adults. She considers herself an eclectic therapist who enjoys working with a multitude of clients who have different presenting concerns. Some concerns include depression, anxiety, boundary concerns, relationship/marital concerns, abuse, trauma, impaired sleep, low self-esteem, identity concerns. Kelsey prides herself on being inclusive to all populations, ethnicities, and sexual identities. A message from Kelsey, “No matter the season of life, I am here to weather the storm and support your growth while providing a neutral space for you to just be you.”

Sheldon Aaron completed his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Eastern Illinois University and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in the Counselor Education and Supervision program at the University of Central Florida. Due to his current location,

Sheldon is only accepting client’s via telehealth. Sheldon is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois, a National Certified Counselor, and holds Level-1Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. In his clinical work, Sheldon specializes in working with LGBTGEQIAP+ adolescents and adults, and individuals presenting with depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, and general adjustment related symptoms. When working with Sheldon,

you can expect to engage in a collaborative relationship where he works to understand your lived experiences and how those experiences shape who you are today. Sheldon leads with compassion, empathy, and humility in his approach to counseling. Sheldon’s hope for you as you engage in therapy with him is that he can provide you a safe space to process the harder parts of life and learn how to move through them. Sheldon was raised in Normal, IL and previously lived

in Champaign. In his free time, Sheldon enjoys spending time with friends and family, karaoke, and is a big tv and film buff.
